Intranasal tips

  • Tilt your head slightly forward, not back. Insert the tip just inside the nostril and angle it toward the outer wall, away from the septum. Press the pump smoothly while gently inhaling.
  • Avoid blowing your nose for 5+ minutes after administration to let the peptide absorb through the mucosa.
  • For most research protocols, the morning dose is preferred to align with natural cortisol and BDNF rhythms.

How this is calculated

Concentration is the vial’s peptide in mcg divided by the BAC water added. Mcg per spray is that concentration divided by the bottle’s sprays per mL, and sprays per bottle is the bottle volume times sprays per mL, rounded down because a part-filled last spray is not a usable one. Cost per spray divides the vial price by the sprays in one bottle, so it treats one vial as filling one bottle. Spray pumps vary, so check the volume per spray printed on your bottle (0.05 mL per spray is 20 sprays per mL). Cross-check the vial’s real contents against a lab-verified COA before dosing from it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What does the intranasal calculator work out?
It relates vial strength, diluent volume and spray-pump volume to give the quantity delivered per spray and the number of sprays a bottle yields, so a spray formulation can be described in the same quantitative terms as a vial.
What spray volume should I enter?
Use the figure quoted by the pump's manufacturer. Metered nasal pumps commonly deliver around 0.1mL per actuation, but this varies by device, so the value printed for your specific pump is the one that makes the result meaningful.
Why does the sprays-per-bottle figure come out lower than expected?
Pumps need priming, and a residual volume always remains below the dip tube that cannot be drawn up. The arithmetic here describes total volume divided by per-spray volume; real-world yield is lower.
Is this a dosing recommendation?
No. It is a unit-conversion tool for laboratory and research contexts only. It does not recommend quantities, schedules or routes, and nothing listed on this site is intended for human or animal consumption.
Does anything I enter leave my browser?
No. The calculation runs locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to us or stored, and no account is needed.
