Cycle projection

Each vial covers 20 days at 1 dose/day (you'll need ~1.5 vials for a 30-day cycle).

The math

Concentration = Vial (mg) ÷ BAC water (mL). For example, a 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL of BAC water yields 5,000 mcg/mL.

Units to draw = (Target dose ÷ concentration) × 100. A 500 mcg dose from 5,000 mcg/mL is 0.1 mL, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe. U-100, U-50 and U-30 syringes all use the same 100-units-per-mL scale; the smaller barrels just hold fewer units, which makes small doses easier to read.

Find Dose and Find BAC Water rearrange the same equation: dose = (units ÷ 100) × concentration, and BAC water = vial (mcg) × units ÷ (dose × 100).

Always reconstitute slowly: drip BAC water down the side of the vial, never squirt it directly onto the lyophilized cake. Do not shake; gently swirl until dissolved.

For research use only. This tool converts units; it doesn’t recommend a dose. Cross-check against a lab-verified COA for the actual product in hand.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What does the reconstitution calculator do?
It converts between vial strength, the volume of diluent added, and the resulting concentration, so you can work out syringe units for a target quantity, or solve in the other direction for the volume needed to reach a given concentration.
What are "units" in the result?
Units refer to the graduations on an insulin-style syringe, where 100 units correspond to 1mL. The calculator converts a volume into those graduations so the figure can be read directly off the barrel.
Does the diluent volume change the total amount in the vial?
No. Adding more diluent does not change how much material the vial contains; it only changes the concentration, and therefore the volume that corresponds to a given quantity. The total in the vial is fixed by its labelled strength.
Is this calculator giving me a dose?
No. It performs unit arithmetic only, for laboratory and research contexts. It does not recommend quantities, protocols or frequencies, and nothing listed on this site is intended for human or animal consumption.
Are my inputs saved?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored anywhere, and no account is required.
